The fonts contain an empty circle like this to show you when you have typed something out of sequence; this is minimized if you use the Tzerng Koang keyboard that allows alternative typing. The goal is to help your documents to conform to the Unicode standard, which makes it easier to be shared with others. On all platforms, you can set keyboard shortcuts that allow you to switch from one language to another. Learn them, and they will save you hours.
